Guest Ratings & Reviews
The hotel's location is perfect, offering quick access to Darling Harbour, transport, food, and shopping. The rooms are great, though some more information during check-in would have been helpful. The service was accommodating, allowing for a late checkout to store luggage. The dining experience at Darling Harbour was enjoyable. The facilities were convenient for a well-rounded stay.
I was pleasantly surprised by the upgrade to an apartment with full amenities, although it was not as pictured. The room needed a little more work as it smelled of smoke, and a container of smoked cigarettes was found under the lounge. The service was top-notch with kind and accommodating staff, especially highlighting their help with parking availability. The location was convenient, being a short walk to trams and close to major tourist destinations. However, there was an issue with waiting over 45 minutes for a cab that never arrived. The dining experience was not as expected as it was not included for the apartment, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, the facilities were good, but some areas needed attention.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room I had, despite being very sterile and in need of a makeover, was large, clean, with lots of natural light and good facilities. The service was a bit of a letdown, with a delayed room service and unresponsive complaint handling, but the staff overall were friendly and helpful. The hotel's location was a bit noisy due to being in the heart of Sydney CBD, but it had everything one might need and was close to many attractions. The dining experience was average, with original dishes but with some issues. Overall, it offered some great aspects along with a few drawbacks.
The hotel had all the appliances for the standard apartment booking, but was dirty when we checked in. The TV was not working, and the room was damaged. Unfortunately, there was no response from the reception when we asked to fix the TV, and the air conditioning wasn't working either. Service was friendly and helpful, but they could not arrange parking for us, just said tough luck. The location was great, walking distance to everything we needed, though slightly off the street reducing noise. The dining experience was a scam, so I recommend not booking it. Overall, the rooms were great for the number of people we had to accommodate for.
The hotel rooms are clean, well-appointed, and comfortable with a full kitchen, making it a quiet retreat once the balcony door is closed. The proximity to transportation and nearby attractions in Sydney is excellent. However, the dining experience may not meet expectations.
I felt like I had my mini-apartment at the hotel. It was exceptionally quiet once I closed the balcony door, but I had to wait until well after 2:00 pm to check in. The service was a mix; some staff were awesome and extremely helpful, but others were hardly ever at the reception and seemed annoyed by our requests for a properly functioning room. The location was great, very central to everything, close to Darling Harbour and just a 5-minute walk to Central station. The dining didn't impress me; it felt like a scam, so I wouldn't recommend it. Despite some ups and downs, I had a decent stay with some standout features.
